24 May, Paris: Visionary Leadership Forum for Digital Transformation

vlf2017

We invite leaders in higher education to register your interest for attending a one day Leadership Forum.

The event is hosted by UNESCO, and co-organized with D-TRANSFORM project and ICDE, who together take the initiative to mobilise globally for visionary leadership for digital transformation of higher education.

Having the Sustainable Development Goal 4 “Education 2030: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all” as a backdrop, the event shall set the agenda for how leaders can initiate and develop actions to transform higher education through digital supported learning and teaching.

Why the focus on Leadership for digital transformation?

A number of accelerating change processes are taking place in post-secondary education globally, fueled by digitalisation and demand for up-scaled, quality higher education. While these changes hold great promise for a more sustainable future as envisaged in the Incheon and Qingdao declarations, governance and leadership are emerging as critical factors for facilitating successful change.
