|Partner Profile|| Université de Lorraine (UL) promotes innovation through the dialogue of knowledge, taking advantage of the variety and strength of its scientific fields, and aiming at the promotion of knowledge transfer to irrigate innovation and economic growth as well as the progress of fundamental science. UL offers curricula in all fields of knowledge. A specific focus is given to crossovers between fields and skills, to help students develop their own pathway.
LORIA (the Lorraine Research Laboratory in Computer Science and its Applications) is one of the largest university research centers developing fundamental and applied research in computer sciences. Bolstered by the 500 people working in the lab, its scientific work is conducted in 27 teams. In particular, the KIWI research team (Knowledge, Information and Web Intelligence), is focused on user modeling and data mining with application in e-education.
